  My Favorite Place on Earth
  My grandparents bought a condo in Captain's Quarters when it was built in 1982 and I've been here every summer since. I love St. Augustine, there's enough to do but it's still peaceful. The beaches are wide and even at high tide on weekends they're not crowded. The old town is great for restaurants, shopping, arts, museums, etc. There are some good outlet malls nearby too, but honestly it's the beach that keeps us coming here. As far as Captain's Quarters, it can really vary from one unit to another. Some are gorgeous and some really need to be updated. Most are 2-bedroom, 2 bath but there are also 6 units with 3 bedrooms. Aim for the 2nd or 3rd floor, the front walls are almost all glass and the views of the ocean are spectacular. 110, 210 and 310 are front and center so go for numbers closest to "10". The pool is fine, it's clean and the landscaping is nice but there's nothing particularly exciting about it (slides, etc).
