  First visit, the time you wait is terrible, over an hour, then my wife and I went into the room. As we were waiting in the room, and looking around, you can see that the hygiene in the place is not good. Stains that could be blood, a used glove on the floor by the garbage, just grouse. We saw Eric Pulsfus, no doctor in my opinion. He was rude, lacked compassion and personal manors, and really did not answer our questions that we had and then gone.
  So with that said we did give them another chance, our mistake. We requested to see a midwife and not Eric Pulsfus. The wait was bad again, what is the point of an appointment? We saw Amy Loughlin and again not impressed. Although it was a different room it was still dirty and smelled unclean. Amy smiled more than Eric but again left quickly, said she would come back to answer a few more questions and never did, and gave us the impression that their patients are just cattle. So after that, we requested our records, walked out the door, and are now on a quest to find a smaller more compassionate practice.

  I am giving 2/5 stars because every time I have been seen here I am told to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to my appointment & then not actually seen by the midwives until 45-60 minutes AFTER my appointment time. The midwives are nice but I'm currently 35 weeks 6 days pregnant with a 2 year toddler that I have to bring to my appointments due to not having childcare. You would think that they would try to see you at your appointment time especially when you are toting around a toddler. I'm currently still waiting to be seen as I type this and it's 57 minutes after my appointment time. The reason they are getting 2/5 stars is because the midwives are so nice & will readily answer any questions. I only wish the appointment time schedule was better kept hence the reason for the low rating.
  UPDATE: 10/13/17 changed my rating to a 1/10 because some of the front desk women that check you in are so rude, and completely lack customer service skills. Today I was not called back until 15 mins after my appointment even though I was told to make early morning appointments or after lunch appointments to ensue I am called back on time for my appointment. I am a patient person but being 9 & 1/2 months pregnant with a 2 year old who doesn't have a long attention span it's important that I'm seen on time or at the very minimal not more than 10-15 mins late which is pushing it. Anyhow today I went to the front Desk to ask if there was an area I could change my 2 year old's diaper. She said she would check and told me the midwives' rooms were full. I told her that it was already past my appointment time and she told me I could go out to the main lobby and change his diaper in the bathroom there. Now, I'm carrying my toddler, my diaper bag and pushing a stroller to the bathroom located outside the drs. Office all while 9 & 1/2 months pregnant. I wish I knew the woman's name but she was white, middle age, long un kept/kinky mouse brown hair hair pulled into a low pony and I'm pretty sure she wore glasses. Anyhow the sad thing is that I had actually brought over 2 dozen donuts for them and decided not to give it to them because of the way I was treated. She could have easily let me use one of the 10 bathrooms in the drs office but didn't. The front desk customer service is horrible and that is coming from someone who worked at a front desk sometimes filling in as the administration (I completely understand the stresses and that it can sometimes get to be overwhelming) for our physical therapy clinic in the Air Force for over 7 years even though my actual job was a physical therapy assistant. I always treated all patients with the upmost respect and tried to help them when they felt frustrated. At this point as much as I love my midwives I told them that I was interested in finding out how to get my money paid towards the birth refunded so I can go else where. This front desk is horrible and I'm sick of waiting extremely long wait times. If you want to be treated like a human that matters then don't deal with this front desk! This has all taken place in the Saint Augustine Office.
